1st XI Centurions
The following list shows all centuries scored in 1st XI League and Cup games.
Keith Hinkley’s 151* is an Alvanley 1st XI record, as is the number of centuries scored – 7. Two of the players listed are overseas. Nick Makay played for a season and a half, racking up 5 tons, while Andy Donahue played for 1 season in the early 2000s but returned for 2 games during the 2013 campaign, while on holiday. 5 of Peter Yorke’s tons and all 7 of Hinkley’s tons were not out – they loved the red ink.
Rob Fisher’s first 2 tons were on consecutive days. Matt Tyler moved away from the area but went on to play in the Village KO final at Lords – on TV! F Britland’s ton was the first recorded ACC ton – back in 1932. That 103 amounted to nearly half of his runs for the season!
